I guess it was recorded in 06 or 07 since they're talking about GrandMasters album + Rae's OB4CL and GZA's new album (Pro Tools) yet he doesn't mention the name of it yet. It's funny that GZA's saying he's about to drop 3 albums in one year (his solo, mixtape + his album with Shavo of System of a Down if I heard correctly) but he hasn't dropped a single album in 12 years now lol.
GZA is such a thinker. I honestly think I got alot of my process from him. Just from analyzing his rhymes.
In my opinion..When you look at the time period of 1994-95..when it comes to lyrics...two albums stand out on a whole new level of lyrical ability. One of them is Illmatic...the other is Liquid Swords...and to be 100 percent honest. There is nothing on the level of Liquid Swords lyrically. His flow patterns..vocabulary..descriptive lyrical detail. Even his delivery was razor sharp. He defined
