I don’t have answers but damn RNS was an amazing producer. Is he still around?
There from SI right? And RZA learned from RNS. They started around the same time, and the Clan just took off. I believe there was even some shit about the Wu name? But I don't have the direct source right now.
Yeah of course they were. I think they were all individually shouted out on 36 Chambers, from memory. I think Pop was even a contender for MK's spot in the Clan. Can't remember exactly. But yeah, those guys were definitely in the picture from the start.
they were. RNS taught rza some of his production skills
Didn't RZA say Pop was someone he wanted for the Clan but couldn't get? Can't remember if he said a reason for it though
Gp wu are technically the real wu tang as they started it as a trend and the talk
rza bogarted it and took ghost with him away from the stapleton guys. Thats why pop, rns and them were mad at rza for a long time.
i consider anyone shouted out on 36 to be the real wu. That includes gp.
I remember 'Can You Wu Wu Wu' was one of the first Wu fam songs I downloaded back in the Audiogalaxy days.
Pop still uploads new music to this YT Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@BOMBAFIREENTERPRISES
I've heard RZA credit Ghostface for coining "Wu Tang". Anything cool from their projects he would call "Wu Tang" and it caught on with their circle of friends and hustlers.

According to this, he was never an affiliate of the clan.
