The third PlayStation console stumbled out the gate and never really recovered. It did have its moments, but unfortunately did not do well in the long run, which is horrible, because it really is a great system..

Ps1 and Ps2 were historic systems. Hard to follow up with another one. It is a decent console based on limited experience playing it. Sony has a good track record, probably bests any of its competitors so far.
i have about 30 ps1 rpgs from psn store on my ps3 so ill hang on to it
ps3 had free online...
