Masta Killa is one of the more unknown about members of the clan. What do you think his best verse is?
I say either Glaciers of Ice or Winter Warz, but I haven't listened to a whole bunch of his verses yet.

Da Mystery of Chessboxin' or Wu-Gambinos
Severe Punishment...
'Thoughts are contained in the trenches of the brain...'
Be on the lookout for this mass murderous suspect
That fills more body bags than apartments in projects
And as far as the coroners know
The autopsy show, it was a Shaolin blow
Put on by my family brought to the academy
of the Wu and learned how to
fuck up yo' anatomy, steadily, calm and deadly
Spatter-head lyrics I lick through your transmit
MC's submit to the will as I kill your
juvenile freestyle, civilize the men-tal
Devils worship this like an icon
Bear-huggin mics with the grips of a python
** Probably one of the best verse ever
Masta Killa ~ 1112 Verse:
"Give no extension on the lynchin
It's tension if the name of the Clan is mentioned
It's the aura that's felt, that causes one to flash his gun
and reveal how he really feel, confirmed
He'll never live after the show, see the promoted for the dough
I'm takin, breakin his wax
Throw my shit on to perform my selection from the Swarm
Day 2 breaks, it's a stormy Monday
My ninjas lay in revines and ditches
Underneath shrubs and leaves
They breathed thru underwater reeds
The enemy walks above, Clan remain subterranean mud
Off shore banks, tanks approach the location
Bombarded by the circle of death formation
Telecom lines are sniped from these low altitude strikes
Shatterin bulletproof helmets with scrap nail fragments
of cell, inhale these venomous thoughs that I propel
thru the north facility, the city must suffer at the hand
of the Chief's command, volts is in
At 3 minute intervals the heat intenses
deadenin the power from electrical fences
Defences are down, shake a nigga up, bounce him off the sound"
~
You can picture that whole scene.
A true Assassin on the mic.

Chessboxin'
Galciers of Ice
Wu-Gambinos
Hell, everything he spit before 2000 was classic
"everything he spit before 2000 was classic" i'd agree with that, so hard to choose. probably da mustery of chessboxin
i think he is gettin' back on that form (watch your mouth verse)
snd he hasn't got any flow problems anymore (although I always enjoyed his verse)
when i read the title i thought this was seriously going to be about da mystery of chessboxin for sure. 1112 is pretty good, i didn't even think of it, haha.
i still pick chessboxin because that verse is like his theme... he wasn't on the album at all, but on this song he was like 'don't forget me' because "i'll injure any motherfuckin contender!"
go masta killa!
(i'm high)
Masta Killa is dope as fuck. He might be the most poetic member of the Wu. This is the best verse of his that I've heard:
A voice cries from the wilderness of the North
A representation of the families that lost one
or victims of incarceration
Or other divisions of the family structure
Youths are injected with serums that lead
to skin irritations, babies being born with
disfigurations, experimentations
On their faces there bear world relations
of mothers that carry the pain
of blood stained streets where sisters mourn and wail
Fifth brothers been slain from hails of gun fire
It lightly begins to rain, screams of terror
are hidden by the passing trains
This can't be little Hussein, his uncle cried
As he drops to his nephew's side, holding his cane
Just give me a name, of who has inflicted this
bitter sickness, and left us to witness
His verse on 1112 is like watching a manga.
Wu-Gambino
"Starks pass the chrome
Watch a nigga get blown out his muthafuckin dome
piece, deceased, laid to rest
Classic...
his solo material ain't so classic, but its still good
The one for the mystery of chessboxin.
homcides illegal and death is the penalty, what justfies the homicide, when he dies?
^^^ his entire verse in da mystery of chessboxin is insane
Wu Gambino
Da mystery of chess boxing
Exacute them
hmm, something like that, yup (add U-God)
Many people have said this before but this just proves it^
Masta Killa
Inspectah Deck
U-God
Should drop an Ironman-like album.
PEACE
And on a similar note I was feeling "Run 4 Cover" & "Enjoy Da Ride" a lot so
I thought a:
Method Man
Streetlife
Redman
Album would be crazy as well...on some "Blunt Brothers" vibe!!!
alright I got a quick question
what's the song with the Masta Killa lyric that goes something like
"slit the stomach so the body wont float, we vigilant, infinite patience, I stand as commandin chief, mad thorough..."
fuckin killing me to try to remember
I Think his most well written verse was on A Better Tomorrow but his best based on flow and delivery was Chessboxin and Winter Warz at a close second for me.
heh. Yeah I've even slept on Masta but I've tried to go back and carefully analyze him. He's definitely a solid artist and deserves more credit.Quote:
Aiyo, spit that shit, that make niggaz wanna lick they glock
When I grab the microphone, I can't stop
That would be ....Exectute Them....From: Killa-Bees ~ The Swarm
Yeah I feel you for real....
Masta Killa
Inspectah Deck
U-god
~
Method Man
Streetlife
Redman
That would be perfect in my opinion...
Or maybe switch U-God with GZA!!!!!!!!!!
On some Assassination type vibe.
Wu-Gambino
God steppin forth upon holy ground of the track
It's the sound that surrounds and hurts me like I'm under attack
So I decided to bite down on the mic
So the pain of the track won't deny the fact
That I'm the Master, for what lurks, is an expert
That hurts the individual who tries to visual-ize under
Cuz I strike, like thunder
Niggaz couldn't stand my heat, it's unbearable
My wisdom fucks up your respiratorial
Systems are fractured by the killa tactics
Style is ragged and thoughts are mad jagged
Enter the entity, my vicinity
Is three hundred and sixty degrees of humidity
Represent the school of hard knocks and glocks my
Clan is hoss and got mad moss for blocks so
Feel the force of impact from the iron side of
The gat as I attack the track
From the blind side of the pack, Starks pass the chrome
Watch a nigga get blown out his muthafuckin dome
piece, deceased, laid to rest
my fav ones are on mystery of chessboxin
snakes from return of the 36th chamber
a better tomorrow
and he was the best of all the member on watch ya mouth
definetly execute them from the swarm. i'm pretty sure he's written better lyrics but this is his best verse... the delivery is perfect, that verse is more wu-tang than wu-tang. flow is cool, he's never come off so skilled, sometimes he sounds like he's trying to rap... that eazy e disease.
