MESSAGE on current forum problems : for members and guests

1. The forum (home page) / certain sections / certain threads have been timing out on those who tried to access them repeatedly over the last few days.

2. Cause : possibly a server problem. There was also an on and off bot attack on Hip-Hop Shop a day and a half before the forum access trouble began. We don't know if this has anything to do with the current problems.

3. Current admins : Cilvaringz and Tomb. None of the regular members including mods have admin access to get things sorted out. PM your questions & requests to Cilvaringz. Tomb does not visit the forum on a regular basis at all.

4. GUESTS : there is a glitch in the registration process that disables the Captcha confirmation check. Therefore nobody can register as a new member at the time. The e-mail address mentioned on the registration page to report trouble does not pan out either. You are welcome to browse the whole forum. We hope to have the registration process repaired but right now that is out of our hands.

I PMed Cilvaringz about the situation just now.

We are now looking in to finding somebody who knows code, forum maintenance and server maintenance and is willing to help us out for free / likes doing this type of thing as a hobby.
