Rapper starring straight to vid movies that are worth a watch

I'm talking about ghetto azz releases. Purple Haze the movie stuff (never seen it)


I think the only one I ever saw was Streets Is Watching, which I have on DVD (sadly no longer own a DVD player though). HILARIOUS. a bunch of crappy scenes in different places with very different lighting and seemingly (?) directed by different directors. I remember smack in the middle of the movie there is a soft porn scene (lezzies IIRC) that has absolutely nothing to with the movie. ahaaah nice.

I was just thinking about this because I was flipping through some OSTs I have looking for some Bay features.

I remember buying it for the Snoop Dogg feature (he is performing as 'Tha Doggfather' for label reasons I think) because back then I was running a Snoop Dogg fan site



look at that tracklist. that cover art. I think this particular movie is a Dru Down vehicle

THIS HAS GOTTA BE ONE GREAT MOVIE. can't even find any info about the movie itself online. was it ever finished? possibly DMX is in this one (?) since there are 2 Ruff Ryders tracks on the OST

It stars Cam'ron, if I recall correctly. I remember being surprised by its quality. Worth the watch.
