from what I know the story to be is that bobbito was the first one to hear nas demo when he was working on def jams brought it to Russell simmons and he said nas was to lyrical it will never sell don't know how much it was because he sounded like g rap never heard that story but that's just me peace always thought Russell was a stupit person for passing that up because in hip hop there no such thing as being to lyrical
