HAVOC ON PRODIGY'S DEATH I NEARLY CRASHED With My Kid When I Heard
Prodigy's partner in Mobb Deep thought his death was one of those rumors they hear all the time, and he even joked around about it ... until he confirmed the devastating news hours later. Havoc spoke out for the first time since Prodigy died, and told us he left Las Vegas Sunday knowing Prodigy was in the hospital. Unfortunately, that wasn't uncommon and Havoc says he wasn't too concerned -- his friend had battled sickle cell throughout their 28 years together. Plus, he'd checked up on him multiple times by phone ... and his condition was improving. Havoc thought nothing of a "weird rumor" he heard Tuesday morning, saying ... "I was really laughing, to be honest with you." One call to their road manager changed that. Havoc says he made the call while driving from his 5-year-old son's kindergarten graduation -- "I could've crashed with my kids in the car." As for remembering Prodigy with their music -- Havoc says, "I'm still f**ked up. I can't listen."
Really sad. Too early to die. RIP.
What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck?!?!?
Not cool at all.
What a shitty way to die.

Seeing reports now looking like he died from hospital negligence.
Typical medication for his condition was morphine, looks like he was on morphine and being fed at the hospital, passed out and choked to death.
W... T... F...
tmz is usually full of shit though
that would be super fucked up...but its such a weird thing to come up with that I wonder if there's some truth in it
FYI the median age of death for males with sickle cell is exactly 42 years old, and Prodigy probably put more stress on his condition than most throughout the years
Don't they have you in hoses if you're in a hospital like that, so if he would be choking some alert would be beeping when you can't breathe. Sounds a bit sketchy.
R.I.P.P.
Happy to see how much love he's getting all over the place. Hear someone playing mobb deep in their car for the first time the other day (hell on earth). News stations, etc have all shown love and people are coming out from the least expected places. I think his passing is one where the casual 'he was my favz' RIP-dickrider can't mess with because you can't fake it. They kept everything underground and hip hop so where do you start if you don't already know? Either way, dude's impact is very visible.

This little ones tribute to P is sick.
this one hurts!
Rest In Power Don P!
"...but not the bottle"
I lost touch with mobb deep, both group and solo, a long time ago, but infamous and hell on earth are classics of the highest order and two important albums of my early hip hop years.
RIP to Prodigy.
'HNIC 3' arrived at my place today (along with 'Juvenile Hell' it's the only Mobb related release I don't own). I'd always held off on this one cuz I'd read it was filled with thug love bs tracks but I just played it twice and it's aight. got some good songs too
Rest In Palaces Prodigy, will be playing your music forever and a day
its like everytime I listen to P and MObb deep albums now i get that weird feeling that P aint really dead.
Yeah HNIC 3 had some good tracks. 'Life Is What You Make It' sounds especially poignant now.
I have to dig out HNIC 3 again and give it another spin. I thought it was disappointing and overall wack when it came out.
HNIC 3 wasnt good.
Not feeling it. Could have paid more tribute to P.
Well that's fucked up.
Doesn't even look like P
they defaced it again with red paint so now their taking the mural down smh
thats foul
Not sure how I overlooked this track that was on a Compilation album. Dope track.
Good Interview
