and that John Specner Blues joint with the GZA/Priest remix on it. both were cheap
Die Rugged Man Die & Beneath The Surface.
Last month I thought I found out Rip The Jacker wasn't out of print and of course I ordered it. They said it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks, it's been over 3 weeks and I'm back to believing it's out of print.
^ "Beneath The Surface" didn't get that good reviews when it dropped but i always fucking loved that album. to me it's GZA's second best album, 4.5/5 and i ain't dickriding - the only thing is that i don't like the 4 skits but delete them and that album is incredible. GZA was still peaking on this album and 90% of the beats are pure greatness. only reason people were dissapointed at the time of its release was that it didn't live up to "Liquid Swords", (big fucking suprise there idiots lol).
"Grandmasters" would be third.
^ its your opinion. i dont feel beneath the surface at all. few good joints and rest stuff is boring as a fuck. and i never compared it to liquid swords. grandmasters for me shares 1st palce along with LS in GZA catalog.

And I just got word from another site that they will not be able to deliver Rip The Jacker, Can't exactly say I expected to receive it in the first place so no harm done.
Also, With the Sick Jacken album in my collection I have the entire Vs. Series.
If the Soul Assassins albums weren't Out Of Print I would just go ahead and finish my entire cypress collection.
Just recently heard this. A little disappointing to me. 2 incredible albums but this one was boring. Its got a few good tracks on it though.
There haven't been a lot of albums for me recently. I been fuckin with the free mixtapes:
Donnis - Southern Lights
Dope. If this was an album release I would have bought it. This guy should have a bright future.
Laws & Paul McCartney - Yesterdays Future
This fucking sucked. I downloaded it cos it said Justice League made of Paul McCartney samples. Laws ain't shit and I could have produced it and done better with the beats and concept.
Curren$y & Alchemist - Covert Coup
No brainer.
Skyzoo - Great Debater
On first listen this is decent, but I think its gonna grow on me more cos Skyzoo has real densely packed and articulate lyrics that probably get more interesting each listen.
some good purchases in here!!
i was actually listening a couple of times to "The Eqonioux" the last week cuz i hadn't heard it before. i love Organized Konfusion but i found the album very sub-par to their other releases (and P. Monch's later work) but its still a good album. the biggest minus is probably all the skits, but with iPods today it's great that you can just delete all the skits from the playlist. there's some serious bangers on there and some great themes, "Hate", "Inverto" might be my favorites. "THE EXTINCTION AGENDA" is my favorite of all O.K./Pharoahe Monch/Prince Po albums - true classic right there, front to back.
i still haven't picked up "Wu-Tang Meets the Indie Culture". don't know why really, because i love that album and played the shit out of it for at least a year. amazing compilation.
DJ Muggs vs. Sick Jacken is something i played alot recently again, this and "Grandmasters" are My coeirw in the Vs series. production is next level and lyrically Jacken and Cynic speaks on very important shit that needs to get out there and i'm glad that there's hip-hop artists speaking on these matters. on heavy beats like this nonetheless.
i haven't been able to buy new records in a long time :( i'm poor as fuccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk :(
KRS-One & Bumpy Knuckles - Royalty Check
Pharoahe Monch - W.A.R.
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Rakim - The Seventh Seal
Has-Lo - In Case I Don't Make It
and some John Coltrane album (not really hip hop but...)
