the animation isn't very good (looks inferior to the 90s batman and superman cartoons...but it might look better in standard def or 720p), but the actor doing stark's voice does a passable robert downey jr impersonation.

Im not going to compare this to what DC did, im just glad we're getting a proper Avengers cartoon and based on wht i've seen of it so far, it's like it's going to be great.

I don't see why you have an issue with the animation, it all seems pretty fluid and well put together, the character designs on the other hand I thought were a bit off in still pics but since i've seen it in motion i've been convinced by them.

I don't why they went for a Downey Junior impersonator, as much as I liked Downey's performance in the movies, I don't think it should have been the interpretation to portray in this.

so far marvel cartoons have been good lately spectacular spider-man and wolverine and the x-men. sucks to see both of them gone.

the thor ones have been good so far.

Try watching it before you judge it. I had my doubts too when I saw the trailer but it's better than you think, and what i've posted isn't even the main series yet, just a taste.

i misjudged this...well, i watched the 'movie' compiling all of the micro-episodes, and the animation in some sections (nick fury vs. grim reaper, captain america, black panther) looked good, and they actually made pym's powers kind of cool...but then the iron man and hulk segments looked pretty terrible, except for the scene where hulk fights black widow and hawkeye. the stuff with kang was also very cool.

iron man's design still looks weird and 'off' to me, but i'll check the show out.

oh and having wolverine as one of the soldiers with fury and captain america was awesome

yeah, despite the fact that the character designs aren't exactly the best, this is a pretty good show.

i just saw the black panther episode and that shit was ill. lol

im with ya on the wolverine & the x-men thing, kza. i was really looking forward to another season of that show. best x-men cartoon to date.

but this avengers show is almost equal to it. im hoping some of the street level heroes make a cameo soon.
