His drums banged harder and the switches were nasty. Monk rides the sample, but never does more than a decent loop for every battle.

theres really no questionz here.... nice beat Ra some ill flips n breaks, feelin the underwater aztec temple vibes im gettin lol. I wouldnt of brought that string back every bar tho. some insane shit happens at 1:20 mark+

Monk actually had some variation of drums in there, and had a nice chop, but it was too little. decent drop

i gave to mum. the chops are real nice for the verse i don't really dig the switch up but i appreciate it if that makes sense. both beats were good but monks was a little dull and too loopy.

Both sounded similar to me. I know Mumm Ra has skills but I have to go with el monje this time because it sounded more cohesive and emcee ready. Mumm's drums were crunchier though. Good beats.
