It didnt seem to be Meths album to many guests more like a mixtape. The production fit a pop rapper not Meth. Meth did come lyrically strong but like i said didnt gel with the beats. Lack of any Wu producers really affected the album IMO just not Meth's style

i do agree it lacked the rza beats-a mistake many of the wu members did cause they got beef with rza cause he has billions of dollars while they dont have 1/3 of that! But the rza is the mastamind and without him wu wouldnt be shit and now that they all went there seperate ways all of em except for ghost and deck all downgraded their solo albums cause they didnt have the great rza beats! so many say the wu legend is over but they forgot wu is forever! they have joined again cause the loss of ol dirty but also cause they know to make the illest shit like back in the day they need to re join rza to do it. Im looking forward to not this year where they still have a lot to work out but the year after when they are all back without beef to show once again wu is forever!!!!! The only songs i dont like on the album are the one with Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg & Redman & Ludacris, then the rest of the album was good, i dont know why a lot of people hated it.

I voted average. A disappointment of course, but looking back at it, 4:21 did not crush Tical0 into pieces. it's just slightly better with less weak tracks, but not more killer cuts. What's Happening, The Turn, The Motto and Afterparty all are outstanding tracks in my opinion. Anything else, i don't check for anymore. I dig party joints and mainstream cuts usually, but i prefer them well executed, which is not the case on Tical0. It seems as if it already sounded outdated when it came out, beatwise and as far as mainstream went.

other than the turn i dont even like these songs anymore.just gave this album a second listen and i will say its not as bad as i used to think it was....but its still pretty bad.

the rest of the album is just fuckin corny. i will say this though...meth KILLED IT lyrically on this album. its just that the beats are so unbarable.
overall 4/10 which is 2 more points then i gave it initially.
i listened to this again a while back and this album is REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY bad. like....historically bad.
i still say meth ripped the mic on here but the beats are SOO FUCKING UNBEARABLE that it totally erases any redeeming quality it could have in any other area. its like method man was begging to get radio play with this and everything just comes off as ultra-cheesy attempts to be commercially relevant.
i shouldnt even be talking about this album. its better to pretend it doesnt exist.
