i'm pretty sure only one of the 16 songs have ever been released on CD before, and the majority has not been released on wax either (with a few exceptions). this is a great oppurtinity for real DJ Premier fans to get physical copies of these incredible tracks.

Teflon was a close associate of M.O.P., he's been on their albums since Firing Squad. Nick Javas was some new white rapper Premier signed to YR Records like in 2008/2009

Not really feeling most of the featurings. Premier's beats will probably make this a good album though.

Teflon also dropped a solo debut in 1997 that's heavily underrated, don't sleep on that. and yes Nick Javas is an italian rapper signed to Year Round Records, he was on the Blaq Poet album and dropped some hot singles. Khaleel is a southern MC signed to YRR.

it should be noted that not every song on the album is produced by DJ Premier, "Rap Exercise" is produced by Showbiz (with cuts by Preem) and the MC Eith track is done by another producer. other than those 2 i think it's all Premier. this is in an instant-cop!

Looking forward to get the Freddie and the KRS/Puba tracks in CDQ, but honestly not overly hyped for this. New Premier is always good, but he should start working with more interesting rappers.. Interested in how that track with Pap & Sai is gonna turn out, hopefully we'll get the Papoose that murdered Joell & Novel's So Much More, and not the one we're used to hearing nowadays..

i dont mind the guests at all....krs, mc eiht, teflon, blaq poet, joel ortiz, freddie foxxx, nygz etc.....they all nice

i didnt see anyone mention NYGz but they pretty nice, come out with the straight NY sound, their album or w/e 'welcome 2 gdom' is worth a look. plus if their 2nd lp they workin on is supposed to be fully produced by premo with features like busta, ice cube, MOP,etc...
