theDSC, and U-WU were the two sites i frequented the most. i remember john book(i think that was his name) the creator of u-wu, printed my shit in one of his newsletters, and big upped it too. i printed that shit out, i was mad proud. i prolly still have that printout somewhere, hehe.

LOL MORGOTHS SITE WAS GARBAGE. HOWSER, SEAN D had the tightest sites. You're right but REAL AUDIO streaming was the main thing before MP3s and any good site had nice RA on it. Morgoth's site sucked. I had a site that was short lived it was pretty tight tho. Much better than MORGOTH. It's funny cause my cousin who used to live with me used to crack jokes about MORGOTH LOL. What a coincidence.

Oh yeah, Howser site was the one to go to back in the day. I didn't really start looking up Wu shit on the internet until around 99 and after hearing all the RA files and whatnot on there I realized what I had missed out on. I remember Howser was one of the first to leak Remedy and the only one who had access to Cilvaringz back when he first popped up. I remember after he took the site down he put up a notice about how swol he was that RZA didn't put him on officially to do a Wu site. But I also really liked Wutangworld, they used to have a new Wu track a day on there. I still have some tracks from off that site I haven't been able to find since the site went down. My fav so far is The Writer by 9th Prince. I can't seem to find that track without all the website shotouts on it. Anyone know where I can get it or have it?

I loved that weird Wu site HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN back in the days. That was cool, altho they never updated that shit. It was more a database.

5elements died, but the forum stayed the same. JORDEH became JORDI and a new WUTANGDYNASTY came up.
WTD became WTC! Still the same forum! :-)

Also, I remember when Jordi showed me a new designed www.the5elements.com website. Jordi designed it and he and Bloody Fists planned to do this website togheter. But it never happend. 5e died and WTD became THE Wu site.

Man, 97 was the shit, I was 21, in college, had a college radio show and was spinning nothing but wu tracks on my radio show... Man I remember buying a custom tape from the DSC I think, with the original box in hand and a whole bunch of rare wu tracks and being mad happy even though the sound quality was horible. That was like the rarest track of them times for me at least, and hearing Sunshower for the first time and searching high and low for a UK version of wu forever on vinyl(Still havent found it).

The U-wu was i'll and was run by John book, and he said in one that meth sent him a shout out on as high as wu tang gets with the line John John bring the phenomin I cold Crut, was what john book said and how his rap crew was named crut and he had met meth and shit.....

Man those were the days, Ic ant imagine being like 13 or 15 or 7 at these times, I had it perfect, can do what the fuck i want drink to wu fuck to wu, I had the perfect age for wu. 1994 - 99 was the wus best years and those sites brought back some hard memories. Good thread
