the story he tellin is the shit and it seems left untold. the track actually gets cut off it seems. is there a full version that didn't make the album sold in stores? mind you i'm not new to this cd, just now listening to it while trying to make sense of it. or is it looped?

it just keeps repeating in a cycle- that's the concept of the song, that violence in the hood is just a neverending cycle that repeats until you find yourself getting jacked and shot. Excellent track and one of the best on that album. That album is mad slept on too, Priest got some gems on that album.

thanks. that's what i figured. if you're right, that's creative and unconventional as shit. what threw me off was stories like that usually have some sort of closure. but in reality a lot of crime goes unsolved. nice one.

I guess it's supposed to be like that movie "Groundhog Day" hence the track name Deja Vu....repeating it over and over as to be Deja Vu.
