Did you guys see they added a second show at the Wilbur January 3rd? I thought it was strange that they would space them out 2 weeks apart.

Yea, I saw that. Maybe it was the only time Wu can fit another Boston show into the schedule.

Hope the show tonight is legit.

Dope show. Wish they played another 20 mins or so. Was on stage about an hour and 15. I've never been to a show at the Wilbur before but the sound was dope. You could actually make out the lyrics and didn't hear just bass. ODBs son is crazy, just like his dad, lol.

Such an ill show. Everyone was hyped. Obviously Meth took control and had the crowd going crazy. Ghost and Rae always on point, Inspectah Deck was struggling with his voice, but still did well. Cap spit some of those extra long verses getting everyone in the crowd to go crazy, U-God was ill with Dat's Gangsta and his other verses. Masta Killa is so calm on stage with those acapella verses and shit, when the beat drops everyone goes nuts. GZA killed it, had more energy last night than any of the other times I had seen him, he was definitely into the show. Boy Jones was fun to watch, even though I wish he'd do his own thing instead of just imitating ODB, he puts on a good show. Math did an ill tribute to Jam Master Jay too, sick show all around.

I give the show a B- cuz a 1 hour and 20 min show is kinda wak given their catalog. It would have been nice to throw in some newer tracks but I can understand why they don't. When Masta Killa spit No Said Date no one in the crowd new the song and were just standing around. If they don't do a 'greatest hits' set list the majority of the crowd wont be into the show and thus they would sell less tix.

Also, there were a couple members (i wont call anyone out) who didn't seem into the show...yawning and shit! Meth always brings it live which makes up for it. They did 3 songs from Liquid Swords which was cool.

Forget to mention...anyone see that corny ass dude in the upper section pulling his celtics jersey out for the ENTIRE time La Darkman was performing? Dude looked like an aneorexic Special Ed.

Wu shows bring out some corny ass Boston sports fans.

Guess thats why I like the Lakers and Yankees.
