if your refering to the choppyness around the image that extends from the sig... i got an answer for you.

first before you add a image to the sig... click on:

File > Save for Web

set your matte color to whatever color it will be placed on... for example, for this website you would set the matte color to black. then click ok.

now use that image and place it in your sig.. the blackend matte color will reduce the choppyness...



also.. finding a better quality image will help out alot too.

Listen dude, what you have to do is:

When you have your mantis selected (I take it your using Photoshop!) go up to select at the top, and pick FEATHER, you would only need about .5 or 1%, then with your direct select tool (arrow)
drag it on to your MANTIS Banner, OR once selected and fethered, go to select again, and INVERSE, then just deleate the rest of it!

combine all the layers together (except the background color) and then go to Help> Export Transparent Image, then click next (when it say my image...), then click online>then PNG>name it and then save....

OR

you can go to Save as PNG... but a PNG is best for saving it as a transparent


here is like a little PNG i did so you can see that it makes it look HELLA better...

i always save as compu gif... with transparency checked off.

i did my current sig with the techniques i mentioned above. it works well!
