Wu Tang Album: The Rebirth

I hope they don't sign to Aftermath....we all know what happened to Rakim

Look the dude above mentioned, wu being signed to a label owned by an artist who respects and understands what the clan has done for hip hop is not a bad thing. Obviously the clan members aren't signing to a label for the first time, they know about creative control and the business side of things that needs to be taken care of. I'd rather them sign to Aftermath than Virgin because i know virgin will not know how to market them and when sales are low, they'll get swept away. and all the haters will say wu this and that.

And the sample example is perfect, how many songs have wu members lost because labels are scared to cough out the dough. well until the BET awards we're gonna have to wait and see.

On the flip side of things, me being a fan, i do find it sad at times that wu tang never were able to form a label like dre or dame/jigga. but they did bring us some raw music. LOL

But if they sign to Aftermath, a new album may get shelved for a long time or never come out (see Rakim).

BUT, if before they sign, RZA and the clan make sure they have complete or almost complete creative control (Rakim's album was shelved due to creative differences with him and Dre) and they get to work on the new album it can only be a good thing as it will sell on Aftermath with their promotion.

Away from that though, its a good sign that there's seperate posters for Wu-Tang Latino.

no joke, i didnt have my cam with me but the poster was all black with a yellow wu symbol un under just said: THE REBIRTH, and they had another grey poster up that said Wu tang latino. i saw this in washington heights last night and 3days ago in lower east side and the village.

Where in Washington Heights? My girl's mother lives on 169th St. and I've never seen it.

You know whats funny.....i did a cd project in my graphics school about 2 years ago and it was a Wu album I done. I called it the rebirth LOL!!! Anyway, who ever seen the promotional poster for the album ..post that shit man!!! This album is going to change the course of hiphop all over again.
