Dope shit. Beat would have fit nicely on Wu-Tang Forever.

I'm feelin the snippet. I don't mind the same beat being used, but it was pretty lame on Nas' part to recycle the old rhymes.

However, despite that, the snippet sounds good regardless.

So tempting to listen, but imma wait until March 8....lol
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

^ At the same time, we dunno if Rae knew that track had existed before. Also, Sean C and LV made no mention of this being an unreleased Nas mixtape track, so the whole situation is just a bit confusing...

nobody said that..just sayin that nowadays when any and every song is a couple finger movements away..its rare that someone has the discipline to not listen to something they are anticipating.

Knowing Raekwon, he himself didn't do enough research if indeed its old. CLII proved that he didnt care about reusing old material. Of course Sean C & LV didnt mention it being old, who wants to come off as lazy in a interview? The beat is exactly as they described it...hard drums & a few strings, very minimalistic.
