I'm not so sure if I believe this is final, or if it even happened, these dudes always break up. Who knows, I hope not.

wow...guru's into drugs and depressed? never thought i'd hear that, but i guess anyone is susceptible to life...
on a side note, it would be tight if nas took guru's place. nas said that his next album would be exclusively produced by premo anyway...imagine that.

They're probably not broken up...rumors been out since their third album...

Naw, I think it may be true, I heard that too, that Nas will be produced by stricly Premo next, and last, album.

if that nas rumor is true... thatd be amazing, ill buy it. but about gang starr, that really sucks... i was hoping to hear more from them... legends.
it sucks taht there was a conflict between jeru and primo, id love to see another jeru album produced by primo. they were a killer mix.
i saw on SOHH that the next nas album is supposedly called "NASdaq" or something like that...but yeah i really hope its all produced by premo. a back to the basics album of sorts would be refreshing, especially after the mature, grown man themes were exhausted in street's disciple.

this is what nas needs. some shit like illmatic that has a flow the the album. not all choppy with lots of songs coming from all over the place like sd.Originally Posted by ballistic

GUru's new album is really good
^^Word, it's tight shit. And, replace Hard To Earn with Daily Operation on there and you got their 3 classics list.
In the world I see, you're stalking elk through the damp canyon forest around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty carpool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
