"When I die bury me with the LO on...Official to the death for all eternity and so on"Lo Down & Dirty" WASTED ON THE USUAL WIT MOM DUKES WAITIN ON THE FUNERAL""MY MOUSTACHE LIKE ADOLFS"-Ghostface
Picked up this album a while ago and i think its dope!. GZA is on point throughout, and its funny hearing him rapping about girls 'what are silly girls made of', clubbin 'stay out of bars', and sex 'superfreak'. Its a far cry from his dark lyrics on Liquid Swords. The production is nothing outstanding, but it is solid, and if u know what hip-hop beats are like from that era, then you'l know what to expect, as there are typical of the time.
Overall id give it 7.5 or 8/10
definitely not my favorite GZA album, but it does have a lot of decent tracks. Pass the Bone is definitely classic, and Words from the Genius. i always skip Come Do Me though hahaha.
7.5/10

A lot better than I expected. Give nthat I laready had all the other GZA albums, it was nice to suddenly hear him as a hungry young mc coming with loads of energy and a different style/subject matter.
Click HERE for free mp3 compilations (inc. rare tracks) from:
J Dilla, MF Grimm, Mr. Lif, Poetic aka Grym Reaper, Kool G Rap, RA the Rugged Man, Shabazz, Hell Razah, Timbo King, Jus Allah, Warcloud, Breeze Brewin, Kid Capri, Count Bass D, Insight and more...
This was a much better than I expected album. It was weird at first hearing Gza rhyme about females, but he brought it off well with plenty of skill. The production is great too.
"I pledge allegiance to the hip hop"Method Man
i'm really confused now...
how many tracks are on first 1991 release?
cause all copies on the net even on the amazon have 15 tracks for 1991 release.
