its amazing to see really how long rappers hold onto some beats. Anybody notice that the "Last Trip to Scotland" beat plays in the background of the beginning of "Fat Lady Sings" off CL2.....

oh word?
Yup the beginning of the track for Fat Lady, first 20 seconds, is 'Scotland' from the same drums & horns. Wu tends to do this a lot.
Im just counting the days until that beat at the end of Rich and Black turns into a 3 or 4 minute track with some dark lyrics spit all over it.
I get a semi just thinking about the possibilities. Shit is tight.
Fat Lady Sings was one of the songs I didn't like on CL2, the woman pissed me off.
lol I've made a thread about this before asking what the beat was in the beginning.....well now that's answered!
Last Trip to Scotland is my shit son. I can't wait to hear it.
you didnt' notice that?
it's actually a different beat. listen to the drums on the fat lady sings intro. they're much better. the sample keeps the beat from being wack, but once again scram jones fucked it up w/ the drums
Theres more base at first for Scotland in the SvsW version, but once the drums actually drop the drums are the same beat for Fat Lady. Scram didnt ruin shit
the drums were redone for the shaolin vs. wu-tang . and the bass. they should've just used the original beat, but whatever.
the bass is the same, its just turned down on Fat Lady
it's reprogrammed. it's not the same. the tempo, bass & drums were redone
