Yeah, its worth buying, a couple of good classic tracks...
Miami, FL
One....
Yeah, some people don't like it though. Great album, what else do you need to know about Sunz of Man...Killah Priest, Hell Razah, Prodigal Sunn. 'Nuff said.
The year 2002...the battle still with the WU
killah priest is not on the album at all, there are some wack choruses and cheesy beats but it's a decent album. bankstas has the hardest beat even if the lyrics are kind of lame, did tru masta produce that? sounds like him, i gave this away back when it came out so i dunno.
Its pretty lame imo. Its nothing compared to The Last Shall Be First and Heavy Mental for exmaple.
Priest isnt on the cd. Loads of wack beats, the quality is very bad (the cd skips) and its just kinda lame. Some tracks are hot, but its not a classic imo
There were some not so good songs on it but it is worth the money, When I got it I was dissapointed that Killah Priest wasnt on it, but did have some good songs....
its doing wack,
no KP, wack choruses, wack beats, lyrically its decent with hell razah holding most of the weight. plus the album is fucked up.
Christianity = White Supremacy
yeah its average 3/5
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
All Sunz Of Man albums are good IMO. Some are really really good (I'n not gonna say classic, the word gets thrown around too loosly) like "The Last Shall Be First" and "The First Testament"), one was good ("Elements", even tho this is The First Testament w/ some Hell Razah songs from "When All Hell Breaks Loose", they dont sound good together) and one was just above average ("Saviorz Day").
Even tho I rank Saviorz Day the lowest on the Sunz Of Man discography, it still is a prett good CD.
The Holy Temple Is The Mental
meth only talks on the album even though it says he's featured in i think 2 tracks, its a decent album.....a few bangers like Bankstaz
yeah, I think that was a blatent attempt at record sales. C'mon ya'll are Sunz Of Man, that was not needed.meth only talks on the album even though it says he's featured
The Holy Temple Is The Mental
Definately a patchy album. I like some of it, but then I dig out my old Sunz vinyls like '5 Arch Angels/Soldiers Of Darkness' and the First Testament Samplers (and all the other shit they did with Shabazz The Disciple like 'Writing Rhymes With A Liquid Pen') and think damn they were grimey muthafuckers back then.
its worth buying
