Default Leaked!!! Ill Bill x Vinnie Paz - Heavy Metal Kings

Yup it's officially on the interwebz now. I'm about to go on a run and give it a listen through. I've heard some early opinions saying it's pretty damn good and that the Muggs produced tracks are amazing.

For those who've heard it: Thoughts? Opinions?

Can't post links for leaked retail albums here.

Either Google it or ask for the link via PM.

I'll wait til I cop the disc to hear the whole thing.

They did a pretty good job of keeping this from leaking too soon

I'm sure the shit is crack rocks!!!!!!!

it only has 1 DJ Muggs beats tho.. track #13 - "Leviathan", judging by the title i would guess it's similiar to the "Kill Devil Hills" stuff. hopefully! there's one beats by Gemcrates (who produces for DJ Premier's publishing company and was on the Blaq Poet) album, one by Shuko and lots from C-Lance, Ill Bill, and some other guys i never heard of. hopefully it's good, it's all about the production. "Kill Devil Hills" and "Season..." was dope but they had some of the best producers of all time on there, this has only one or two producers that's known to be really, really good.

Ah I thought it had more than one. I think I just assumed that "Age of Quarrel" was a Muggs production because that same piano loop was used on the GZA track "Luminal" that he produced for Legend of the Liquid Sword.

Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

just listened to the album. the beats are dope all-around, but the first half is much better than the second half. by the time track 8 rolls around, the lyrics get repetitive and the two mcs lose enthusiasm. like the last 5 tracks sounded the same to me. anyway vinnie outshined bill on most tracks. I'd rather hear vinnie and jus than ill bill
