Sick cover bro, I support the mixtape as well, shit would be dope.
Nice! +rep
i wish they would actually do a real collab track just once
ive always been super surprised they never did a single collab before
they had some minor beef over a couple of issues back in the 90s
Yeah didnt they jump layzie bone's cousin???? I think I read that in a bizzy bone interview, it was around the time of the Notorious thugs track, correct me if im wrong
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
Bone Thugs and Wu were scheduled to release an entire album together in '96. Something happened (yeah it was layzie's dude got into some issue with someone from Wu) and it collapsed. Then the RZa and GZA intro on Forever disc 2 was done, and even though that probably wasnt aimed at Bone Thugs, Krayzie thought it mightve been , and then released the song "aint saying no names" that clearly was aimed at RZA.
Beef has all been squased though since, some bullshit.
Gotta remember Bizzy was on Wu's dick for a while, he got a crew together in mid 90's with NY rappers that were very reminiscent of Wu style (like his sidekick Mr Majesty), so it is weird it never happened.
