...my point was not that Quantum Entanglement does not exist but that it does not involve a "signal" from one particle to the next. That they are in fact somehow the same particle.

Quantum mechanics challenges the view that there is such a thing as locality. So, you are there and I am here. We are separated by time and distance. Seeing as how some particles are able to be instantaneously changed by the positioning of another particle, this begs the question whether or not what we are seeing is absolute space and time or just a holographic projection of sorts
