    Default The Family Sign

    1. My Key = 4/5
Really good. This song somewhat shows the style of the album. Nice piano, semi-slow, sort of depressing. Slug spits some nice shit on it.

    2. Last To Say = 5/5
Definite 5. Depressing track. Pretty much about an abusive dad beating the mom whos protecting the kid.

    3. Became = 4.5/5
If track 1 and 2 fucked, their kid would sound like this.

    4. Just For Show = 5/5
Different then the past songs. Faster tempo, no piano. Sort of like the When Life Gives you Lemons sound. Chorus is catchy as shit.

    5. She's Enough = 3/5
Eh. Sort of Boring. Not memorable.

    6. Bad Bad Daddy = 4.5/5
This song isn't that good, but I fucking love it. The beat will get stuck in your head all day and you need to listen it. At least for me. Nate on guitar is fucking crazy on this.

    7. Millennium Dodo = 5/5
Slow, but a definite head banger.

    8. Who I'll Never Be = 3.5/5
Eh, not memorable or anything. Sounds like it was recorded different. Maybe it'll get better.

    9. I Don't Need Brighter Days = 3/5
    Eh, pretty boring and tiring.

    10. Ain't Nobody = 5/5
Really dope, like the beat and slug does good. Chorus is pretty catchy and good.

    11. Your Name Here = 4/5
Chill and calm. It will probably get better in more listens.

    12. If You Can Save Me Now = 4/5
    Dope, chill. Yeah.

    13. Something So = 4/5
Will help you sleep, in a good way. Most calm song on album. It sounds like some acoustic shit until the 2 minute mark, which is interesting.

    14. My Notes = 5/5
Dope as shit. Short but good. This song sums up the album. This has the head-banger part, the sleepy, chill part. Real good.
    ------------------------------------------
OVERALL = 4/5. This album is very hard to rate as a whole. It's a new style to Atmosphere, but it's definitely good. If you listen to this then Overcast!, it's sorta weird how they changed, and you can tell Slug and Ant are getting old (which isn't bad). Don't expect anything like the Leak at Will EP that came out in '09. It is reminiscent to the To All My Friends EP, some song styles on that sound like some Family Sign song's styles. Never heard an album like this. Slow hip-hop. Nice.

The CD case is that paper-ish case, with Velcro in one corner that you open keeps the case closed. The liner notes have all the lyrics, and some thanks. This album costed a lot for only 14 songs, possibly due to the publishing. It cost like $15-$17.

I've only heard one song from the album, Just For Show which I loved.

Will listen to the whole album and post a review up soon, surprised there isn't more interest Atmosphere are dope.

    4 - Really dope

Interestingly enough, the songs the OP liked the least are some of my favorites on the LP.

I thought the sequencing was a bit iffy at the beginning of the album.

My Key is a dope opener, but making Last to Say the second track was odd, it's too much of a punch in the gut to bring in that early, soulda been towards the end IMO.

Following it up with Became was weird too, but that was obviously to lighten the mood a bit.

That's the only thing I have any sort of issue with, the sequencing.

Otherwise, I love all of the songs on this album.
