This cd is truly amazing, especially lyrically. However I can't enjoy it as much as I did a few years ago. I think I'd prefer the 'new' beats over the raw 'old' ones.

The beats ain't wack at all, thats that 95 shit right there, even though this is a real good cd, i ain't all that classic. His punch lines and lyrics is great, he just never had the time to become a true songwriter. Freestlye abilities was wild but when it came to make'in solid songs, L wasn't that great. Alot of hooks are bad, like fed up wit the bull shit, got some bad closers, and doesn't spit a story song until his second cd. Overall this is real good cd, and L was was the definition of hardcore mc, but don't put this cd up wit illmatic, supreme clientel, cuban links, ready to die, liquid swords, resurection, paid in full, or any other true classics.
