    I still haven't heard anything from these guys yet so i would like to come to my own conclusion, any recommendations?

    Check out Earl Sweatshirt's "EARL" and Tyler, the Creator's "Bastard". "EARL" is pretty dope start to finish, and "Bastard" is pretty uneven with some great tracks and some terrible ones, but those two would be the place to start, I think.

    And definitely come to your own conclusions on the group. It seems like a lot of people don't like any opinions of Odd Future that aren't fanatical on either side. Those of us who have more tempered opinions tend to get shot down, so the more people who take the time to actually listen and form their own opinions, the better.

    to me, odd future's hate and hype shows how creatively bankrupt most hiphop is now, and how much people want something new and different... even if it's really not new or different, just packaged differently
