    Default what's the point of owning vinyls?

    I finally gave in to the hipster trend of buying a record player and owning records that I already have on CD. it seems like a waste of money, but there's just something special about owning a record player. plus the ART COVERT, which is fucking huge, makes you enjoy the record even more. so far I only got 3...

    Illmatic (record store in Detroit; Common and J Dilla shopped there supposedly)

    36 Chambers (best buy)

    Cuban Linx II (hot topic... don't judge me! it was on their site!)

    what do the rest of you own? and why the hell do you buy vinyls?

    idk but i have a record player and as soon as i get my own laptop im taking all my dads and grandmas old records and making some ill ass beats lol... nd to answer ur question idk old niggas like dat shit

    i found a few old records sitting outside of a library in oakland and i took em even tho i don't have a record player. once i get one i'll give em a listen lol
