I tried doing this, it was too hard, I like each for different reasons and it would change based on the mood im in. As of right now

yeah but after the screenplay for NBK was sold oliver stone butchered it to death and tarantino didnt want anything to do with it as it went too far away from his original idea. when you look at the credit for the film, tarantino is listed for the 'story.'

true romance is fully written by tarantino with tony scott eventually directing the film. tho roger avery seemed to had some contribution to the screenplay as well but he is uncredited.

lee donowitz, the movie producer in the film is supposed to be the nephew of donnie donowitz [eli roth's character from inglourious basterds]

i see. so he wrote the bases for both of them. makes sense.

but really they were both extremely average films in the end anyways imo (could do with a rewatch of NBK tbh it was ages since i seen it). and tony scott is honestly one of the worst 'acclaimed' ive ever come across. his movies are so zoomed in and shakey, he makes the ugliest films


if u havent already, check out Badlands (my avatar pic, coincedentally) because Tarintino stole everything from that film to make true romance lol (well its a homage, which is fair enough, tarintino clearly loved the original), the couple on the run, the music, the girls narration all came from badlands. its a much slower flick and way less popcorny but regardless of if ull like it or not every TR fan should check out the origin film behind it
