another month and another battle.

this month is going to focus on one of the hardest things to do for a producer.............. REMIXES!!!

as a producer, you should be able to remix a track and make it on point. one of the true legends in the game and a master of the remix is PETE ROCK.

so, this battle will be............... REMIX A PETE ROCK REMIX.

if you dont know any Pete Rock remixes, shame on you. but google is your friend, and there are lists out there. so go out there and dig for them vocals.

the beat can be any beat of your choice, but its gotta be bangin to win.

also, in order to avoid repeat remixes, it would be wise to post the track you are remixing. thats just a suggestion tho.

get out there and get them remixes up, deadline is end of the month and send it in a PM to myself

I understood it like this, "make a remix of a song PR already remixed", using the same acapella basically..?

you just gotta do a remix that the legend PR has done

ie. Public Enemy - Shut em Down (Pete Rock Remix) use those accapellas to make your own Shut em Down remix

i just chose those as regulations cause Pete Rock is my personal favourite producer, i run this place, and he makes great remixes.

I barely ever listened to anything Pete Rock did. I do listen to Alchemist instrumentals all day. That's really the only hip hop I've listened to the past few years. That and maybe a few Premo joints. Anyway, where do I find these Pete Rock pellas? Do you have a link? If you do I'm in and I will surprise you.
