I liked it ...its kinda slow but it does have some replay value
yeah was a good flick. rudd & carell did their thing. starts out like usual comedy silliness then takes a left field on some dramedy shit. good amount of funny moments thruout with nice pace. zach g. delivered once again. ive only watched it once in the theatre so looking out for it to come on cable. peace.
Steve Carell is a genius in this flick. Legendary comic performance.
Just seen 'The Other Guys', standard Ferrell hilariousness, the bit where his boss gives him a rape whistle had me dying.
^^ yo i wasnt really feelin The Other Guys.... few funny parts but overall i wasnt feeling it.. honestly i liked Kevin Smith's Cop Out a little better.

I just lost a bit of respect for you with that comment. Cop Out was beyond terrible. "Aim for the bushes" kicks the crap out of anything Cop Out has to offer.

To get slightly back on topic, Dinner For Scmucks has one of the best opening sequences I've ever seen in a film.
it wasnt a good movie generally speaking, weird mash up casts, smith didnt write it etc. but it was a homage to 80s buddy action genre. even has Harold Faltermeyer doing the score. which was impressive. the man did pretty much every 80s flick. Beverly Hills Cop & Fletch Theme are 2 of the greatest.

i watched it this weekend. i liked it but it was painful to watch. i almost turned it off a buncha times cause he kept fucking up everything. i guess i was extra emotional that day cause my empathy was kicking in hard. cringe inducing.
funny movie. steve carell is one of the few guys who can do "good guy" comedy and still pull it off.
other guys was funny but way to drawn out and predictable. coulda shortened it up. you already know what is going to happen in the end, i dont need the extra dramatics, especially when its a comedy.
