i don't know about the rest of the county but those of us in the 707 have a program in witch stores give all there reject product to food banks. then again we also have a program the recycles used oil from restaurant, and we have no need to separate are Recyclables because we use the prisons to do so and by that i mean nearly 96% of our trash is Recyclables and the average person just throws it in a bag.
