Nice album. Has that nice, Easy Mo Bee-esque, stonedly epic vibe to it.

Public Enemy in their later career could do well with developing upon Mistachuck, instead of desperately trying to recapture the sound of Nation of Millions.
"The Devil is not the Prince of Matter; the Devil is the arrogance of the spirit, faith without smile, truth that is never seized by doubt. The Devil is grim because he knows where he is going, and, in moving, he always returns whence he came."

agree Slim, talk about overlooked album.. i've seen this album on the use records shelves several times but i thought it would pale in comparision to the first four Public Enemey albiums. it doesn' have your typicall Bomb Squad productons at all, with 10-20 samples per record and mad chos and that famous wall of nooiiiisee. Instead Chuck takes on some more stripped down beats with the boom-bap drums and schorching basslines taking center under Chuck's impeccble lyrical performance on "The Autobraphy"... as with any Public Enemy enemy you should know what you're into for, thought-provoking, sometimes provocative political rhymes. And tied with KRS-One back in the days no one else can get out that message with 100% credibility and delivered with a sick flow and maybe most importanty, that authorize voice in all of rap music, a true pioneer.

with the two opening joints: "Mistachuck" and "No", Chuck proves that he's more than capable of deliveringv new P.E. type of trackw. I ain't gonna write much more here for now but i can strongly recommend this album, after two listens i think it's worthhy

I'm gonna have to check this out because I like Chuck D. He's a intelligent brother and I like listening to his interviews on Youtube.
