Other than the 96-97 Heat not being a Classic Team....game is dope, offline. Online has me ready to trade it in for 2k11. But they should patch up most online issues, sooner or later
im really into this game right now. the only thing is that i hate having to learn a bunch of new controls right when i was comfortable with 2k11's control scheme.
The game's classic teams mode is fun. For example I played the 70-71 lakers vs 70-71 knicks. Because it was in the 70's it was in a grainy presentation and classic radio compressed voices of that era. The short shorts, old school looking courts all that's there. Not to mention how beast jerry west was, fadeaway jumper for the buzzer beater win. The legends and elites of the game are very distinguished, more than before. You feel like you are actually using him and doing his dream shake or shaq and wilt with their raw power. The my player mode is lots of fun and a bit more realistic with including contracts and all that stuff. It gives more incentives to switch to another team because with money, you can buy skill points and attributes.
This game is just awesome
I gave m 3pt specialist 6'8'' SF the legendary name of "Rasheed Starks". The only complaint I have is in my player mode, that if you step out of bounds when you don't have the ball, you can get stuck the spectators seats and fall back into them when you try to get up, cost me whole letter grades and to retry that game. Crazy bug
Nasty, you prolly got subtracted in the grade because you were on defense when you went in to the crowd. Leaving your man is a no-no. I actually like the falling in to the crowd, jumping over the cheerleaders/photograhpers behind the rim. Little shit like that makes a game more realistic.
You shouldn't get subtracted just for doing that on offense..prolly a buggy version you got. I'll try that maybe I just never noticed it.
