it's a nice release, very much in the same vein off "Pretty Toney", actually 'Guerilla Hood', '88 Freestyle', 'The Drummer', 'Smith Brothers', 'Paychecks' are cut tracks from that album. it even says 'Official Mixtape' on the cover so people shouldn't be to nitpicking when it comes to this one, it's a mix of new songs and unreleased tracks but it does have a consistant sound for the most part though.
"Paychecks" might be my favorite track

^^^didn't they change the beat to 'paychecks'--like interpolating the sample? i haven't heard this album in a few years but i recall the beat being different from the one that was originally leaked.
^^ yeah i know they couldn't get the sample cleared so they had to replay all the parts, pretty sure that's why it says produced by D Prosper and co-produced by K-Def when it was a K-Def beat to start with. can't recall i ever heard a different version though, feel free to post it up if anyone got it!

Yeah there is two diff versions of this track... the original version was on the Hidden Darts Vol.2 mixtape, it used the original sample, but then the version that ended up on the actual 718 album was slightly different, had a woman singing the vocal sample part from the original and I think the keyboard/piano line was replayed too.Originally Posted by claaa7

Here's the original version of Paychecks.
I prefer this version over the album version, dunno if its just cos I had this one first and bumped it quite a lot.
