this should be one of the best albums of the year for sure, i like every MOP album they ever released (the official ones) and The Snowgoons are a tight production team. i was a little suprised it was only ten tracks though but as long as they all bang, i'm happy ... i've seen some interviews with Danze and Fame and they seems to be really, really happy with the otucome of this LP so it's gonna be interesting to hear it

^I feel the same way about M.O.P. albums, they never disappoint.

And Sparta should be extra ill because of the cohesiveness of having one production team on it.

I know Fizzy does a large percentage of M.O.P.'s beats as is, but with Snowgoons on deck this album is gonna live up to it's name...

Sparta: Some epic, rip-your-face-off Gladitor war anthem shit.

Yeah I agree about Snowgoons being hit or miss, but hopefully when they got the call from M.O.P. they had a stash of their best stuff in case someone of M.O.P.'s caliber called. Plus M.O.P. seem to be pretty consistently good with their beat selection so I'm not too worried.

A very quiet drop. Not one thread on this album since it's release. Downloaded this album after I saw it in the Primo thread about his Top 10 list.

This album is terrible. How does anyone listen to M.O.P? I usually like Snowgoons projects, but this one never got me into M.O.P. The beats the Snowgoons gave them are tailored to their style, and aren't the typical Snowgoon beat style.

Anyways, explains why no one has mentioned this album on this forum.

I wasn't a huge fan of "Sparta" either (mostly because of the beats), but M.O.P. are dope as hell and they have at least one classic album in their catalog.

Hopefully this track answers your question:

We listen to M.O.P. because they're great.

There actually was plenty of discussion about the album after it dropped.

From what I gauged, the people who heard it enjoyed it, but nobody said this was M.O.P.'s best album ever or anything.

My only real gripe is the length of the album, at least 3 more tracks woulda been nice.

But I've noticed in other threads that you seem to dislike many of the Hip-Hop releases from last year.
