    the writer made some good points. i agree the documentary could have been better. and it was foul how the producers tried to screw them out of their money.

    whatever...

    as a FAN...

    i am NOT MAD at this documentary...

    not saying it was perfect...

    but they didnt have to make a tribe movie... i loved it, and was happy to support it as a fan....

    they gave it the big movie treatment, it wasnt a cash grab....

    and while im sure there was some shady shit goin on behind the scenes...

    q-tip is historically one of the craziest people in all of music...

    its two sides to a story...

    ill let them work the business out...

    i want more groups to get the movie treatment...

    hollywood isnt a place to go for honest business practice...

    q-tip been in the game a long time, he knows that...

    years later, im sure tribe will be able to say "im happy we did that"...

    cuz i sure as hell am...

    rapaport said they coudln't be producers bc then they'd change shit that would fuck it up, such as stuff that made tip look like a dick.. and that they didn't deserve equal money as some bc they didn't put in as much work

    it is their movie but i think those are valid points

    it was excellent and it didnt portray QTip as crazy or an asshole, Ali Shaheed and Jarobi really didnt contribute much to Tribe though

    I'm gonna go to Blockbuster Video next weekend and see if they have this. If they don't have it, i'm probably gonna have to buy it from Best Buy. Tribe should do a couple more albums and Phife should've done some more solo albums. I liked his Ventilation album. QTip shouldn't do anymore solo albums because they're gay hahahahahahahahahahaha.
