yeah funky dl is one of those guys that makes music the way you wanna hear it, all his beats sound like PR and Tribe joints, and hes a decent rapper.

Nah, although people do make that mistake because he did do some work with Guru, I can imagine that poor guy got alot of death threats from confused people during that whole controversy, lol

Jazz Liberatorz are dope as hell, especially their album "Clin D'Oeil". They're French producers, but they get a lot of dope American emcees on their records. I'm too lazy to post other tracks of theirs but both of their albums are great, so check them out.

moka only sounds dope too. i'm not sure why this style of rap disappeared about 1997, well i mean puffy obviously and then the dust settled and its been all about soul beats mostly for the last 10 years. theres really only been a few artists sticking to the jazz style.
