Thread: Worst Decade For Music?

  1. #121

    Default for me...

60s - lots of great psychedelic rock bands
70s - the birth of heavy metal and punk, lots of great hard rock bands
80s - golden era of extreme metal and hardcore punk, the birth of gangster rap
90s - golden era of hip hop

00's and it isn't even close. In fact I would say even early in the decade thier was decent music. 2005 to around 2013 there isn't much I listen too.

Any form of Rock music, basically are not talented enough to play instruments or sing correctly. They choose the genre because they couldn't hack it as a trained musician that can play skillfully.

That might some of the appeal though. Not being perfectionist can create some unique material. Not everyone has the ability to be play or sing at the highest level.
