Apollo Brown & OC will release full LP !!!
damn, this is some of the most exciting news i've heard in music in a good while.. Apollo Brown and OC will release a full length album called "Trophies" via Mello Music Group on March 27 of this year. it is right now being mastered and has been recorded over a 6 month period in Michigan... will have no features, just 16 songs of raw beats by Apollo and OC going in and ALL tracks are based around concepts. sounds like an early contender for album of the year, don't you think?

I woke up this morning to an email from Mello Music Group announcing this album. This just jumped to the very top of my most anticipated albums of 2012 list. I was just listening to my "Word...Life" vinyl the other day thinking about how O.C. needs to link up with some dope producers again.
havent heard much from Apollo Brown but he got a good sound from what i have heard
and OC one of my favourite emcees, so this could be fantastic

O reminds me of G Rap in the sense that he remained underground over the years with good talent around him and didn't let himself get sidetracked by here today, gone tomorrow trends. He has some good audio interviews out there about this. I look forward to the album too.

id really like to see black milk branch out w who he works w. really would like to hear more ny mcs on his shit... sean price, gza, roc all sounded dope over his beats. hopefully that happens organically soon.
