just listening to "Fear Of A Black Planet" and it strikes me how fucking sick the collaboration with Cube and Kane is. most of the time in hip-hop when the biggest name collaborate with eachother, we usually get battle rhymes and fly punchlines but "Burn Hollywood Burn" really has an important message.
all three emcee's different styles really stand out on this cut over bombastic Bomb Squad production. Chuck D comes with the agressive, but politically charged style as if leading a revolution. Cube comes with raw agressiveness too, but more in the NWA style talking about shooting a cop. BDK comes in as a teacher, spreading knowledge about the situation in a more factual way than Chuck D. overall they all knock it the fuck out and so does the Shocklee bro's.
who do you think killed it?
