Agreed, I turned it off at about the 12th track. To me Blu sounds like he rolled out of bed one day and decided to record his verses while still half asleep. Some people like that demo recording style though. Stones Throw has jacked the links from bandcamp and YouTube so far for whatever reason.

Seems like that best thing about this album is the cover art.

    Which is very nice indeed.

Unless that's just some random pic posted in the OP.

i have to agree with y'all after listening to a large part of the album, EP, mini-album or whatever. Blu is a talented rapper but lately he's been putting out way too much quantity over quality and just check that clip from his live show where even the crowd heckled him cuz he was so fucking bad. he needs to start taking this hip-hop thing serious if he want to stay in this game cuz right now he's slipping.

thanks for the link, that's very interesting. Madlib probably sent Blu a beat tape when they collaborated on "EZ" and that track from "J E S U S" and Blu jacked the tape and rhymed over it and released it as an official collaboration between the two.

lately, blu seems like a slightly more sane charles hamilton. i think charles did this fake "album produced by _____" shit but with 9th wonder. but i might be wrong, all the fuckery related to blog-rap gets muddled together in my unconscious brain
