i been waiting for somebody to start a thread about this shit. i've been bumping it here and there since it dropped. PA got flow for days, he always shreds shit. but this isnt his best work imo. the sequencing isnt there and some of the beats are weak. this is still a dope LP though, got a good amount of bangers

btw that song with rae is fearsome.

i agree the sequencing is a little off..

but im knocking the best joints off the LP and it looks something like this...

    lost and found
    grown folks talkin
    tell the world
all mine - PASIA made a banger with paul wall.. shit works
    no apologies
    fuckers
    furniture
    mach one
    daggers and darts
    golden state
    coons
    big fish
    stay ready

13 bangers by my count... DOPE LP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

again i dont know who the fuck dirty diggs is but he brought the heat on this....

sampling funk and jazz >>> sampling korn and hair metal

    strong effort by planet asia...

Damn, that Saved By The Bell pic came outta nowhere when I scrolled down lol

I'm impressed with the new LP, I think as long as he has the right producers he can't go wrong. One of the few MCs who balance strong skills on the mic with a selection of new producers and an original approach that doesn't cater to any particular trend.

I really wanted to hear Blu on this album, something like this would have been dope.

Regardless, Planet Asia put out another solid album.

i still need to give this a proper front-to-back listen, heard a few songs here and there and so far, so good. Asia is one of my favorite emcees from the West Coast these days, he know how to rip a great beat to shreds. i'm also heavily anticipating that Tri-State album. i noticed they had a song on this LP too.

Album is pretty dope, Im still listening and getting used to the tarcks. Asia is an ill Mc. What I found interesting about this album were the beats used, alot of different types on here.
No Apologies is by far the best track imo.

    ^^^ interesting...

i actually discovered that dirty diggs is a production duo...

they got an instrumental tape out there for sale...

apparently they dont have enough of a following to have somebody purchase it to rip for the internet....

maybe theyll see this thread and be motivated to make it a free giveaway that could boost their profile... sometimes you gotta give a taste to make the papes...

feeling the funk and soul loops...

    DOPE LP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just listening to this one front-to-back and this shit is HOT TO DEATH.. i knew it was gonna be a dope album with Asia on it but this is better than expected. i'm halfway through and so far no wack tracks, PA is on fire, the guests delivers and the soulful sample based production knocks hard. very impressed with Dirtydiggs ... this is a very good example of an emcee showing that you don't need the A-list producers but unless you got a great ear for beats (like PA) you might end up with a disaster (Deck).

the Tri-State track is NASTY, makes me anticipate the Alchemist album even more!!
