sounds dope.
this is just some aborted fetus with no home. free for you.
he must not like it
Sick, NICE TO HEAR SOME OLD SOUNDING CAGE. Dudes a beast when he wants too.
Ehhh. It sounds like a throwaway. When he drops some "54" or "Radiohead" shit then he's back.
this dude went through one of the biggest transformations in hip-hop history. not only did his lyrics and beats change, but even his image. he was all rugged back then, now he's like an emo kid or something. Eminem is even "harder" than he is today
CAGE TURNED TO A GIANT FAGGiT
Apparently he's gonna do another emo queer album as well an old Cage style LP.
Don't know if they're gonna drop at the same time or if I was misinformed or w/e.
DFM might not have sucked so much if there wasn't garbage like "Kick Rocks" on it.
Who the fuck was that supposed to appeal to?
If Cage would of written more actual raps and didn't do all of that hideously off-key singing and use a bunch of rock fags for instrumentation and that horrid producer who wasn't EL-P (can't even remember his name), maybe the album would've been tolerable.
Still a massive fall-off, but not completely devoid of replay value the way the final product came out.
word. i was down with hell's winter. it wasn't (imo) as good as movies for the blind or leak bros (leak bros is a near-classic in my view), but it was cohesive and had some dope shit.
"if the opposite of pro is con then go beyond this
the opposite of progress must be congress"
i fux with bars like that.
HW also had one of the best pure cage songs ever, in that it was morbid, descriptive, and pretty fucking emo.
some of it was wack, but at least it had some shit on it. it was a pretty solid example of a def jux release. blockhead & el-p handled most (maybe all?) of the production, and they both went in.
then DFM, complete ass. that album had zero songs with replay value. it was basically cage acting on all his worst instincts as an artist -- terrible over-synthed beats, extended whine-rapping, and self-indulgent lyrics about shit he'd already covered better in his earlier catalog. i don't understand who could like that album. hip-hop fans? no. beats are ass and lyrics are either lazy or droned out. rock fans? no. again, instrumentation is ass and cage's voice/singing are cringe worthy. that album hasn't gotten worse over time, but only because it couldnt.
finally, hope there is more.

i hate old fans that turn their backs (acting like the spokesperson for an entire group) and now wanna poke their noses around. you went away stay away homie.
never been a huge cage fan, pretty dope track..but fuck it at least hes being himself even if he is an emo queer cunt,in the end,you do what the fuck YOU wanna do,thats what matters.
Dude needs to shut his bitch ass the fuck up.
Nobody was feeling that Emo album, it brought him 0 new fans and made longtime supporters mad as fuck.
Everything this guy says outside of the booth makes me want to break his face.
Good thing I don't let personal disdain for an artist stop me from listening to them, because Chris Palko is a girly douchebag of a person.
