this compilation of non-album material by Big L was an official release on Flamboyant Entertainment, executive produced by Rich King in 2010. i'm a big fan of Big L but haven't bought anything in his name since "The Big Picture" and i of course got "Lifestylez..." on both CD and the original pressing of the wax. what i'm wondering is if this is worth to add to the collection, i would like to have some more material on vinyl but at the same time I remember that "Return of the Devil's Son" which had HORRIBLE sound quality so if this is the same I'd rather pass on it.
i've heard all the songs and i think this looks like a dope mix though. so anyone who got this, how is the sound quality and what do you think of the compilation as a whole. also, the Riverside Mix of "Platinum Plus" says 'Original Mix', so this is the actual beat Big L recorded that song over or what?? who is Riverside. RIP Big L - Legend!
