I have that album and listen to it from time to time. Nice except conditioner.

Gza, Rae, Busta and Nas shined on it.

Rza's last truly brilliant front to back album production.

i thought lyrically it wasnt up to par and that they did a better job mic-wise on iron flag but i skip half of iron flag while i can press play on the W and not even think about touching the skip button.

conditioner isnt very good but its listenable.

They dumbed it down lyrically for you newbies who got lost during the forever album lol their 3rd best album
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

Ghost and Masta Killa owned this album.....Rae did his thing too and that Nas guest verse took this shit to a new height...one of the last times u saw Wu and hiphop at its best coming into this new millennium....And for those that don't like "Conditioner" just switch it out wit "Kiss of the black widow pt 2 "....it fits right in and keep's the Wu spirit going ! Oh and fuck 8 diagrams !

Iron flag has some nice moments, but nothing in compare to Careful, Jah World, Hollow bonez....

The W is way more rugged than iron flag, at some moments even more rugged than Forever,
rza did some stuff that no one did at the time, like crazy cinematic beats for careful and chamber music, crazy changes on the beats, ghost reigned throughout the whole album, along with deck and gza.

The W took time but if I played that album, it has to be from to finish no skipping

And I'ma remain in the scene and reign supreme and go to many extremes by any means
