if ice water came to rae and asked for a verse rae would do it but as far as putting money up to back these guys their whole careers that doesnt work that way for anyone unless you have a situation where someone is making most or all the money off an artists work.

never been an independent label owner i see.

he gave his old firends an opportunity. what they did with that opportunity is up to them. raekwon has a business to run and he cant keep putting money into products that arent profitable. even major labels dont do crap like that.

he probably lost money on that ice water album. rae doesnt have a money tree where he can just keep losing money on artists that arent gonna recoup his investment.

thinking you have to continuously hook up your old buddies is how multi-millionaries end up broke. happens all the time with professional athletes who think they have to financially save everyone back in the hood.

at the end of the day, when its come to business, money talks and BS walks. none of the acts that wu-tang has supported from staten island have gone anywhere(with the exception of killarmy). you go into business to make money, not lose it.
