Holocaust to drop 2 albums this June
2012 seems to have started pretty slow and unusual for the Wu fans living Wu in the Wu world. It’s already middle of the year and there have not been a single album from Wu-Tang. The reference of Wu-Tang in this context stretches to the Clan members (generals), Killa Beez and affiliates. This has got to be the first time in history of the Wuvment that a Wu-Tang related project has not been released within a scope of not just one month, but six months. Considering the number of artists that is housed under the Wu-Tang tree, this is indeed uncommon (not including mixtapes or free downloads but official releases). Sure Killah Priest had PWOWR project announced to drop in January, then there is Black Knight’s “All Skillz No Luck” that the fans have been waiting on, announcined but pending projects such as WuBlock, Napoleon (Wu-Syndicate), Cilvaringz, Hanz-On, Christbearer, Hell Razah and much more, so what is really going on?
An unlikely but well known hero comes to the rescue from an unusual place, some might know him as Warcloud, early Wu fans prefer him simply as Holocaust but he calls himself whatever he fells like when he wakes up every morning. West Cost Wu-Tang Killa Beez vet; Holocaust, has been serving time for a while now with no known date of release, but this genius (as claimed by the fans) has put in enough work before he was locked up to be the first or one of the first to bless the fans this special year with not just one but two projects, both dropping same time in June in both physical and digital format, happy Wu-Wednesday!!!
Don’t confuse this by thinking it should have been a double CD, Warcloud is presenting to the world two very different projects by introducing 2 very different personalities, alter egos and styles with totally no features, no unnecessary skits or intros, and no interruptions, simply just a full dosage of Holocaustalmania.
First album in no particular order is Warcloud as Holocaust in “In The End Thereof… Are The Ways Of Death” and the second project is Warcloud as Robot Tank in “The Signs Of Hell’s Winter”. Both projects will be released as a limited edition with only 200 pressings of each album on CD and will be made available via UGHH.com by Bombarder Productions.
So now you don’t just get a Wu project coming but you are getting one from Warcloud, for those that might be slow on game, Warcloud pretty much has a strict cult following and possibly the highest amount of fans outside the generals for a Killa Bee and there is a reason for this, check the forums, or the amount of emails we get on the site asking about his whereabouts or his projects to fans getting all emotional creating stories and compilations to keep his name active. These project might sadly be the last of his releases if he is not released, and even if he does come out, this will be probably be the last time you hear him as Robot Tank or Holocaust. It will interest the fans to know that some of the proceedings from the sales of this album will go to Warcloud (confirmed to us by the label) in jail to help fund some of habits like soups, strawberry cream Champaign and comic (basically to help him get by).
